Single Parents Soaring is a community of parents who are doing the difficult job of parenting solo. We meet regularly for support and fun as a family. Our mission is to encourage and sustain a network of 'extended family' who understand as perhaps few others can, the challenges we face. We welcome you to join our community where we hope you and your child(ren) will find friendship, emotional support and encouragement from others just like you.        

Meet other single parents for networking, interesting discussion, good humor, and general camaraderie. Join us if you are a fun, intelligent, responsible, single adult actively engaged in the thrills and throes of parenting. Events include both family and parents only oriented activities.

The Downers Grove group is a great way for single parents to meet, get together for support, and plan activities with our children. This group serves as a way to get together with others who are now, or have previously gone through separation/divorce and are looking to build new friendships, get advise, meet new people and have a good time doing it!
